Our hearts are with everyone in Florida today as they wake up and assess the devastation from #hurricaneian . We haven’t heard anything yet on the status of our house in Cape Coral. We know they got hit hard with some areas flooding and 125mph winds, but we are hopeful for minor damage, and grateful to hear of no casualties so far. We’ve managed to make a lot of memories at this house in the last 9 months and worked hard getting it ready for others to enjoy and make memories there as well as a vacation rental. Cape Coral has been a favorite vacation destination for us and our extended family for the last 5 years and we are anxious to get back there to get our house up and running again when it is safe to do so. #capecoral #capecoralflorida #airbnbcapecoral

We’ve been back home In the US now for just over a year, but we’re heading back to London in 10 days to visit our friends and Our old neighborhood in Richmond. Another fast and fun weekend trip to Minnesota in the books! This weekend we got the chance to commemorate my dad with our children’s first cousin concert. Grandpa Doug ‘s first concert was The Beach Boys -way back when. Then in the ‘90’s he took us to see The Beach Boys at the Minnesota state fair for our first concert.
